You are absolutely correct. Letting you keep your money indicates that a "favor" is being done for you. However, at least the republicans want to "return" the excess taxes we've paid, thanks to the politicos in Washington most of whom are democrats "pandering" to the "groups" looking for power. And disgustingly, the democrats play one economic group against another. They encourage cl warfare and "envy." Instead of "encouraging" the poor to aspire to climb up the ladder of success via hard work which includes obtaining a good education and helping them not to be manipulated by the teachers' unions, the democrats fan the fires of envy and polarize the people by race and economic standing. Shame on all those who envy anyone who succeeds in this great country. This is the land of opportunity where "anybody" can achieve through effort and hard work. I am sick and tired of all this racial talk and cl envy. Cl envy or hatred belongs in countries where there is no democracy and where the nobility are in power and treat the poor with contempt; where there is no opportunity and poor people are looked upon as "inferior" humans. We reward achievement in this country as we should and for this reason we "lead" the world in almost every field. The democrats have benefitted by neglecting education so that uneducated portions of the population can be convinced by the liberals to vote for them. I am convinced, that as we educate our poor and they move up the ladder of success, they vote for less government, more freedom, lower taxes and better tax laws to support the incredible development of small businesses and entrepreneurs who are the "backbone" of our economy and successful country.
