I shall start by means of a formal introduction.
My name is Pedro Kiers and I am a student here in Belgium studying Management, Leisure and Recreation. My senior year must be polished off by a thesis of my choice.
My writing to you should be viewed in the light of a quest for information concerning this thesis. The endwork shall bear the title; Travel; healing and enriching. No doubt you have noticed that I have not made things too easy on myself here. My sources shall have to be found amongst others with organizations that have an extensive experience in various if not all aspects of travelling and the human mind and body, organizations such as yourselves.
Could you therefore help me by supplying me with information that can help me prove that travel is healing and enriching? We all take different types of vacations, yet most of the time we all come back with an overall feeling of wellbeing. So these vacations must have something in common to cause this. I have heard that philosophers in time have shown a certain interest in this matter. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me and set me on the right track in this complex matter. Perhaps other sources to provide me with supplementary material?
