If you have these chat groups set as your "favorites" you might be missing some interesting stuff.
Only recently I noticed that Yahoo once again has a "philosophy" selection off of its "Humanities" path (Arts and Humanities/Humanities/Philosophy). Aside from superficial browsing out of a sense of curiosity, you can also go to a spot called "philosophers" where you can find some essays and summaries about philosophers. There was a rather long essay about the philosophy of Davidson, for instance, and an essay called "Socrates had it coming" (very derivative of I.F. Stone's "The Trial Of Socrates"). At another location I found a very long essay about the nature of rationality.
I also found a moderated discussion group under Philosophy's on-line magazine, where algore has posted his stuff about the self as quantum particle.
